• I declare that that the Sunbed has been delivered in good order and working condition

• I declare that I am not in an advanced state of pregnancy, do not take tranquillisers, anti-depressants, or Antibiotics. 

• I do not suffer from high or low blood pressure, heart or circulation disorder, epilepsy, diabetes or any other condition which may result in sensitivity to Ultra Violet light or heat.

• I am over the age of 18.

• I understand I use this tanning equipment completely at my own risk.

• The equipment belongs to Tan & Deliver Home Hire Sunbeds 

• The equipment should not be: moved, re-hired, sold or dismantled under any circumstances. (If you need the Sunbed moved, please contact your Tan & Deliver Representative)

• When not in use, sunbed must be switched off at mains or unplugged

• Any problems occurring with the equipment must be reported immediately to the Tan & Deliver Operator Operators must have access for collection on order.

 

Important Information (General)

• Do not attempt to move the Sunbed. 

• Do not apply lotion whilst inside the Sunbed

• Any damage or breakages will be chargeable at a prevailing rate. Please follow all our Instructions.

• As with natural sunlight, over exposure can cause eye injuries and sunburn.

• Repeated overexposure may cause premature ageing of the skin and skin cancer.

• Medication or Cosmetics applied to skin may increase your sensitivity to UV light.

• Tan & Deliver accepts no responsibility for any damage, caused by the misuse of the equipment.

• Goggles must be worn at all times.

• Only one person to use the equipment at any given time.

• Sunbed must be clean on collection

 

Penalties / Charges / Damage / Theft:

 

• Damage to the Sunbed caused by the Hirer will be charged accordingly.

• The moving / relocation of the Sunbed by the hirer. (£150)

• Late / Non-Payment (£20 per day)

• Sunbed must be clean on collection (Cleaning Fee may apply)

 

In the event of Theft or Damage beyond reasonable repair, the Hirer agrees to pay the minimum sum of £3800 to cover the full replacement costs of the Sunbed. Any additional costs regarding loss of earnings may be added to this sum.

 

Re-Hire:

You will be contacted 5-7 Days prior to the end date of this Agreement. You will be given the option to extend your Hire.

If you wish to extend your Hire Period, payment must be made in full prior to the end date of the original Agreement and the start of your new extended period. 

 

A £20 daily charge will apply subject to non / late payment. 

Any further extension of the Hire Period is covered by this signed Agreement.

 

If you wish to extend your Hire Agreement. This signed Agreement and the Terms & Conditions associated are legally binding until the Sunbed has been collected and inspected.

IMPORTANT TANNING & SAFETY INFORMATION

 

The Sunbed

This Sunbed is fitted with 24 x 160 watt 0.3 Compliant tanning lamps. 

Obtaining a Base Tan

It is important to build up a base tan steadily. If you have no or little colour, it is advisable to start off with reduced exposure times and gradually build up your colour.

Once you have a base tan you can progress your tan to the desired colour your skin will allow. It is very important that you only expose for the recommended session times as listed below.

Skin Types:

1. – Doesn’t tan easily, burns easily, light colour hair – 2-4 minutes

2. – Tans slowly, burns easily, light hair/fairly sensitive – 4-6 minutes

3. – Tans easily, sometimes burns, darker hair colour – 4-8 minutes

4. – Tans quickly, rarely burns, Dark complexion – 6-10 minutes

 

Always ensure that you cover your skin with a tan accelerator or moisturiser before and after a tanning session.

Protect your lips with a lip balm that blocks UV light. They are most at risk of overexposure as they do not produce melanin.

If tanning naked, make sure that the sensitive areas of your body, i.e. the underarms, buttocks, genitalia and backs of legs, are protected. Otherwise they are more likely to suffer from sunburn as they are not normally exposed to UV rays.

Please allow at least 24 hours between tanning sessions.

If you have suffered sunburn, cover the area with moisturiser and then wait until the redness has completed disappeared before tanning again.

Never tan in the sun the same day as using UV equipment

Do not use this equipment or allow anyone else to use this equipment if you or they are under 18 years of age.
